shared expenses · operated by your agent

nobody in this house is going to open an app.

count is a shared-expense ledger your ai agent operates. you paste one url into claude, chatgpt or cursor, once. the ledger keeps itself after that.

nothing to sign up for yet. count opens soon.

01 · the problem

a shared ledger is only as true as the least diligent person in the flat.

nobody types $12.40 into a form at the checkout. so the internet bill lives in a memory, then in a notes file, then in a conversation in august about march.

every app has answered with more app: receipt scanning, charts, a pro tier, a notification asking you to come back. none of it removes the step that actually breaks.

02 · what it looks like

one sentence, said to something already open.

count ships as one url you paste into your agent. no repo to clone, no process to keep alive, no api key to mint. after that you speak and the ledger writes.

every write returns the whole consequence: who owes whom, to the cent. never “expense added”.

03 · three steps, then never again

  1. 01

    connect your agent

you copy one url and paste it into claude, chatgpt or cursor as a connector. that is the only step that costs you anything.

  2. 02

    say what you paid for

“I paid $40 for dinner, split with the flat.” your agent records it and reads the new balances back in the same breath.

  3. 03

    send the link

your flatmates get a plain web ledger with no signup and no download. two taps to add an expense, or their own key if they want one.

the only message count sends: the sunday count.one line per member, every sunday

drag the table sideways

as each product describes itself, aug 2026. count is free today. a one-time licence is planned for people who keep more than 3 counts.

A long till receipt curling on warm paper, one row marked in yellow.
a printout, not a dashboard

exact, stated once, never dressed up.

a balance is arithmetic, not a mood. count states the number to the cent, in a mono column that reads like a till roll, and then stops talking.

count never moves money. it records who owes whom, to the cent, and links out to venmo or revolut when someone settles.
